ILEA December Member's Only Community Service Day

When:  Dec 1, 2021 from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM (ET)
Associated with  Boston Chapter

Giving back is always in season! For this quarter’s Member Meetup, our ILEA members are invited to volunteer together at Community Servings in Jamaica Plain. Community Servings prepares and delivers scratch-made, medically tailored meals to local individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and more . Once in the kitchen, we’ll help peel and chop veggies, portion soups, stews, and salads, and pack meal bags for their clients. This volunteer shift is reserved exclusively for ILEA Boston members!

Vaccination Requirements:

Community Servings requires all volunteers to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.  A member of their staff will check your vaccination card upon arrival and make a note of your status. A photo of your vaccination card is acceptable, or you may bring the hard copy with you on the day of your scheduled shift. To read more about this vaccination policy, please click here.

In order to volunteer, you must feel 100% healthy and be free of any symptoms of illness, including a cough, fever, chills, body aches, chest congestion, shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea.
