Then join us for a Sales Masterclass as our panel of experts “Spills the Tea” on their secrets to effectively selling and building relationships. This panel will feature three of the ILEA Boston’s past presidents as they discuss how they have become leaders in the industry and sales aficionados. You will leave as a stronger sales person and team member.

Jennifer Bertolino
Jen Bertolino has been a leader in the events industry. As the Director of Catering Sales at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Jen leads her team to achieve over $20M in catering revenue for conventions, conferences, and galas. Previously at Fenway Park, and a wedding venue, Tupper Manor, she is well-versed in catering at unique venues and different types of events. She is the Immediate Past President of ILEA Boston and has held numerous positions within the association, including Northeast Regional Brand Champion, VP of Membership and Director of Education. In her free time, Jen dances and performs with local organizations, raising money for local hospitals and continuing cancer research.

Judy Brillhart, CSEP, PBC
A graduate of Boston University, Judy has worked in the food and beverage and hotel industry for over 20 years including working with Wolfgang Puck at Lupo in Las Vegas. She has been at the Sheraton Commander Hotel in Cambridge, MA for the past 19 years. She has served in several roles at the hotel including assistant front office manager and catering manager. Her current position is director of catering and event management running the sales and operations of all event spaces in the hotel. Judy formerly served as ILEA international president and has held the presidential role in both Boston chapters of ILEA and NACE. Her designations include CSEP (certified special event professional) & PBC (professional bridal consultant).

David Lombardo
David Lombardo is the General Manager of Lombardo's, his family’s fourth generation owned and operated on-site catering venue. David has been in the hospitality industry for over 13 years and his focus has been in operations and sales. He is a past president of ILEA Boston and currently sits on the board of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, University of Vermont Boston Alumni Association, Event Pros Take Action and The Search Foundation. David dedicates his time away from work to the American Cancer Society and enjoys the occasional round of golf.
