✨ Spilling the Tea on Managing it All: Money, Moods, and Moving Parts ✨
ILEA Boston gathered this February at Trident Booksellers & Café on Newbury Street for an evening that traded surface-level conversation for something far more real. Featuring a panel of ILEA Past Presidents, the room was filled with insight, honesty, and perspective that resonated across every corner of the events industry.
From the very first moments, it was clear this wasn’t just about producing beautiful events—it was about what happens behind the scenes to make them successful. Conversations dove into the realities of managing budgets without sacrificing experience, navigating client emotions and expectations, and keeping everything moving when timelines, logistics, and last-minute changes collide.
What made the night especially impactful was the candor. Panelists shared not just what works, but what’s learned along the way—reminding us that adaptability, communication, and trust are at the core of every great event. No matter your role in the industry, there were takeaways that felt immediately relevant and actionable.
More than anything, the evening reinforced what makes ILEA Boston so special: a community willing to share, support, and elevate one another.
We are so stoked for our collab with MPI New England come March 23rd for our super successful Drag Bingo night! See you there!
